Irrigation land received through LRAD programme

In 2008 Mr Derick Louw, the owner of Silvermoon Investments  received irrigation land through LRAD programme.  This aspiring energetic individual was prompted by unemployment in his rural area to work hard and acquire this farm. The farm is currently positioning itself to respond effectively to the demand of services needed by clients and pro-actively seeking to alleviate poverty by offering assistance to the needy. The farmer is a self-driven and self –disciplined individual whose ideas are deeply rooted in the pillars of farming.

The land falls under the jurisdiction of //Kheis Municipality and is ± 90 km from Upington on the road to Groblershoop. The irrigation area is located on the banks of the Orange River and is high in agricultural potential.
