The Northern Cape, as one of the nine Provinces of South Africa, is part of the 2021 COP 26 summit. The summit has given the Province the opportunity to be part of discussions and bilateral talks, to deal with climate emergency, unprecedented biodiversity loss, rising inequalities and the COVID-19 pandemic.
