Hemp Farming

MEC Mase Manopole

The three day Hemp Farming Roadshow led by MEC mme Mase Manopole concluded in Kuruman with farmers and community engagement. The aim of the workshop was to highlight the crop’s contribution to the socio-economic and skills development in the Province.MEC Manopole called on farmers to utilize economic opportunities presented by the cannibas sector.

"I urge young farmers and interested growers to recognize the skill development opportunities that the cannabis sector has, in potentially creating more jobs in the community and revamping the existing farming and manufacturing potential of the province.” said MEC Manopole.
