Officials from the John Taolo Gaetsewe District visited schools and the Thusano Care Givers Centre in Seven Miles village as part of Arbor Week celebrations. This year's theme is "Celebrating 30 Years of Freedom: Promoting Environmental Conservation and Sustainable Forest Management," commemorating South Africa's struggle for freedom through the symbolic act of planting indigenous trees.
