Deputy Minister in tthe Presidency launched Loeriesfontein Thusong Centre
🇿🇦The Deputy Minister in the Office of the President, Mr Kenny Morolong, applauded the superb role displayed by all role players in making sure the Loeriesfontein Thusong Centre is build. Mr Morolong was addressing the community during the launch of the Loeriesfontein Thusong Centre in the Hantam Distict - as it signifies a milestone for the local communities.
The community had to travel 266 km to and from Calvinia to access various government services such as those offered by SASSA and Home Affairs to mentioned few. Now, the Centre will help them save on both transport fees and time.
The Deputy Minister further called on communities to embrace the centre and asked that they not vandalise it ,as it will continuously benefit the young and old. "This milestones must be taken care of, as it will benefit all through various government services that are available here". Added the Deputy Minister.
The Deputy Minister used the occasion to unveil the plague, he and his entourage further stopped at the Departmental Stall for an informative session
